Jaipur: NIMS University Rajasthan, Jaipur is proud to announce its three-day upcoming ‘All- India Inter-University Moot Court Competition 2023’ sponsored by the Bar Council of India, where accomplished law students from esteemed institutions across the country will get an opportunity to showcase their legal acumen and advocacy skills. The event is scheduled to take place from 19^th Aug 2023 to 21^st Aug 2023 at University premises and pledges to be an intellectually stimulating platform for aspiring legal professionals. This is the first time that an all-India Inter-University Moot Court Competition will take place in Jaipur.

By organizing this inter-university competition, NIMS School of Law and the Bar Council of India aim to provide a platform for law students and professionals to showcase their talents, develop their advocacy skills, and gain valuable experience in the field of law. It also fosters networking opportunities among students, academicians, and legal professionals.

In this event, more than 60 universities/colleges and Law schools are actively participating from pan India.

The winning and runner-up teams will be recognized with Merit certificates and prizes. Furthermore, students who are recognized as the best in each round of the competition by the Bar Council of India trust are entitled to one-year scholarships of Rs. 2000/ per month. 

All India Inter-University Moot Court Competition serves as a vital opportunity for students to sharpen their legal knowledge, enhance their public speaking abilities, and engage in rigorous legal argumentation among the new entrants. By simulating a courtroom setting, the competition provides participants with a practical understanding of the complexities and challenges inherent in the legal profession.

The competition will feature some compelling hypothetical cases, carefully crafted by legal experts, challenging the participants to analyze legal issues, conduct thorough research, and present persuasive arguments. The panel will comprise distinguished judges, renowned legal professionals, and esteemed academicians, ensuring a fair and rigorous evaluation process.

The three-day competition will be graced by the presence of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India’s Judges, as well as famous legal professionals and advocates. This event will provide a forum for intelligent debates, profound legal insights, and the exchange of ideas among distinguished legal minds.
