NIMS University bags 'Best University of North India 2023' title by CEGR at 'Education Summit

The 3^rd Summit on ‘Education Alliances cum the 21st Rashtriya Shiksha Gaurav Puraskar Ceremony’, organized by Centre for Education Growth and Research (CEGR), was held in Delhi on 27 September 2023. The summit’s objective was to encourage and facilitate collaboration among Indian universities for short-term certification, faculty and student exchanges programs, the sharing of academic resources and information, participation in events and conferences, and more.

With the purpose of national cooperation in the field of education, the event witnessed active participation from over a thousand delegates representing various educational backgrounds and more than 200+ institutions. The summit was graced by the presence of over 200+ distinguished academic leaders, 150 visionary school leaders, and more than 50+ Vice-Chancellors, highlighting its pivotal role in driving education and academic excellence in India.

At EAS, the program was varied and impactful, with key highlights including the formal signing of MoUs between educational institutions and corporations, enlightening round table discussions with Edupreneurs to facilitate dialogue and innovation in the education industry, and an Academic Leaders round table discussion to share facts and strategies for promoting educational excellence. The School Education Summit also provided an opportunity for educators to discuss current challenges and explore innovative approaches to school level education. The summit was a dynamic platform for building partnerships, exchanging knowledge, and advancing the field of education.

In recognition of its commitment to academic excellence, Nims University has been awarded the title of ‘Best University in Northern India’ by CEGR for the year 2023.This accolade affirms the university’s steadfast dedication to upholding the highest educational standards in showcasing its continuous pursuit of excellence.

Dr. Ramesh Unnikrishnan, Advisor to the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Govt. of India, presented ‘Innovative Vice-Chancellor of the Year -2023 award to Prof. (Dr.) Sundeep Mishra, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Nims University Rajasthan. This award was given out to him for his contributions to the medical and academic fields, and for his innovative approach that has been key to the success of the university.

Furthermore, Nims University, Rajasthan, has taken a significant stride forward by formalizing 34 MoU(s) with leading universities and institutions across India. These agreements vividly illustrate Nims University’s commitment to advancing research, fostering a diverse academic and cultural atmosphere, and actively promoting student exchange programs.
