On 19th and 22nd February 2024, the NIMS School of Law conducted a two-day workshop titled “Charting Your Course: Roadmap to Career Success”. This initiative aimed to empower students with the skills and strategies needed to navigate their career paths effectively, aligning with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education by fostering holistic development and career readiness.

Objective of the Workshop

The primary goals were to:

• Help students identify their strengths, interests, and career aspirations.
• Provide tools for effective decision-making and goal setting.
• Enhance skills such as time management, communication, and networking.

Workshop Highlights

1. Day 1: Personal Development:
   • Self-Assessment Activities: Participants engaged in activities to identify their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT analysis).
   • Emotional Intelligence: Sessions focused on understanding and managing emotions to build stronger relationships in personal and professional settings.
2. Day 2: Career Planning and Execution:
   • Goal-Setting Exercises: Facilitators guided attendees in setting short-term and long-term career goals.
