Strengthening Global Partnerships: NIMS University Joins Hands with RIS for DAKSHIN – Global South Centre of Excellence

As part of our continued commitment to advancing global health and sustainable development, NIMS University Rajasthan has strengthened its collaboration with the Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS) and its flagship initiative, DAKSHIN – Global South Centre of Excellence.

This strategic partnership aims to foster policy dialogue, research, and innovation focused on addressing challenges faced by the Global South. Through collaborative initiatives, capacity-building programs, and joint research endeavors, NIMS University will contribute to developing actionable insights that promote equitable growth, health diplomacy, and knowledge exchange across nations.

The partnership was highlighted during the Health Diplomacy Futures: Capacity Building in the Global Southdialogue, where thought leaders, policymakers, and academic experts came together to discuss collective strategies for a healthier and more resilient future.

One of the major outcomes of this collaboration is the launch of Global HExA (Health Exchange for Action) — a dedicated think tank and funding initiative aimed at strengthening global health governance and promoting South-South cooperation in health diplomacy.

Through this collaboration, NIMS University reaffirms its role as a catalyst in driving impactful partnerships that transcend borders — empowering scholars, innovators, and policymakers to create sustainable global change.
