On the fourth day of the 28th Road Safety Week, awareness sessions were held at Nims University to educate commuters and drivers of public transport vehicles about the need to follow rules.On this occasion Dy.Sp. Sheela Fogawat was invited as chief guest. She delivered a motivational speech to aware everyone to follow the rules of traffic. “It is continuous process. Our aim is to create consciousness among public and drivers. The system can’t be blamed. All are equally responsible. We are on our drives on violations including driving without helmet, drunk driving and speeding” said Dy.Sp Sheela. The students also attended a session with the staff members on ways to reduce accidents.
Series of awareness programmes were organized by Nims University with the help of Mr. Rajveer Singh Rathore, SHO Chandwaji Police Station to generate awareness on road safety among the staff, students and campus drivers.Various competitions on road safety were organized in the University. A seminar was also organized for the drivers of campus to stress the need to follow traffic rules. On this occasion Hon’ble Registrar Dr. K.P. Singh and Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. N.S. Kothari took sworn to follow the rules of road safety with the students of Nims University
