Real Wealth is in Educational Institutions not in Bank Accounts: Dr. Balvir S. Tomar
Orientation Program held at Nims
Nims University, inaugurated the orientation program for its newly admitted students on 12th August, 2018 at the Rajeshwari Auditorium.
Prof. (Dr.) Balvir S. Tomar, Chairperson, encouraged the students to become successful entrepreneurs and create jobs rather than looking for it. He said Real wealth is in educational institutions instead of bank accounts. He also interacted with fresher during an orientation program.
Dr. Tomar, giving his presidential speech said teachers have a responsibility to fulfill dreams of students and their parents by providing quality education. Education should be designed in a manner so that students have an opportunity to grow holistically.
He also stressed on the holistic development of students so that they can contribute positively towards society and nation. He emphasized on the need to inculcate strong human values.
Dr. Pankaj Singh, Director, Nims University, apprised the students of the infrastructure and other facilities available at the institute. He said students need to focus on both studies and sports. They should understand the difference between “A Choice and A Chance”.
A famous motivational speaker Shripad Gopaldari Das Goswami enchanted students giving them motivational tips on how they can achieve whatever goals they set for him. Students were receptive to the motivational talk. In this program Robotic Dance, Fusion Dance, Kathak Dance, Solo Dance, Group Dance, Bollywood Dance, Free Style Dance, Bhangra Dance and Rajasthani Dance style of dance performances enthralled the audience. Dr. Prem Singh (Registrar), Dr. Sunil Sharma (Pro-Vice Chancellor) and Dr. K.P. Singh (Chief Advisor) were presented in this program. Many students and their parents, all faculty member and staff were attended the program.
