NIMS University chairperson Prof. (Dr.) Balvir S. Tomar expressed confidence that the new crop of Indian youth is capable of making plans to “beat” China on 72th Independence Day.
“If only you stick to truth, perform your duties and work hard, there is no way India cannot compete with China which is far ahead of us,” Prof. Tomar told students, faculty and staff on the occasion of Independence Day in the university campus.
Human capabilities are built by education, truthfulness, sense of duties and innovation, he said.
NIMS University is trying to make an effort in this direction so that students of this university can make a contribution towards this goal of competing with the top performer in the world, he said.
The chairman of the university said, “To improve atmosphere, the University is targeting the top ranking in National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) this year itself.” In this direction, students have been given an authority to assess teachers and facilities.
