Expert Insights and Interactive Session for 170+ Dental Professionals

NIMS Dental College and Hospital, under the visionary leadership of Dr. Balvir S. Tomar, Chairman of NIMS University, recently organized a comprehensive webinar on the applications of Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) in dental practice. The event, held on November 8, 2024, from 2 PM to 3 PM, coincided with World Radiology Day.

The webinar featured a distinguished guest speaker, Dr. Neetha Harisha, a renowned Professor from the Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology at the College of Dental Sciences, Davangere. Dr. Harisha provided invaluable insights into the evolving role of CBCT in modern dentistry, shedding light on its diverse applications and clinical significance.

The interactive session that followed Dr. Harisha’s presentation provided a platform for participants to clarify their doubts and engage in fruitful discussions.

The webinar attracted a diverse audience of over 170 delegates, including undergraduate and postgraduate dental students, faculty members, and professionals from various dental colleges across India. Participants from states such as Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, Uttarakhand, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Assam tuned in to the virtual event.

The webinar concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony, marking the successful culmination of the event. The organizing committee, comprising Dr. M.K. Sunil, Principal of NIMS Dental College and Hospital, Dr. Rohit Sharma, Professor and Head of the Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology, Dr. Falaknaz Khan, and Dr. Beer Singh, Lecturers in the Department, expressed their gratitude to Dr. Harisha and all the participants for their contributions to the event’s success.
