A Seminar on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Educational Institutes at NIMS Dental College, NIMS University, Shobha Nagar, Jaipur on 30.11.2016 was organized. Programme on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Educational Institutes for Dental students was organized in Rajeshwari Auditorium, NIMS University. The programme started with address of Dr, Y. G. Reddy. Welcoming the guest and introducing the importance of Anti Ragging in educational institutions. Dr. Chaman Ram Verma sir spoke about the seriousness of ragging and University Laws against ragging. Mr. Rajveer Singh, SHO Chandwaji spoke about anti ragging laws and reaffirmed the good conduct of dental college in past years. Mrs. Ena Bhargava, Social Worker spoke about the social implications of ragging and how it affects the individual’s confidence and shatters the dream of students and advised students to keep away from ragging.
Dr. Anil Chandna, Spoke in detail about the rules and regulations in the Dental Council of Indian regarding anti ragging. He also shared the contact details of responsible persons to contact during any case of ragging.The programme ended with address and thank you from principal dental college
